There are some people who will tell you to push up on the steering wheel, and others will say to pull down on it. I think both are wrong &#8211; use both hands equally to rotate\/move the steering wheel smoothly and accurately. Do I practice using just one hand? I haven\u2019t. I\u2019m not sure what the benefit would be, since practicing the \u201cwrong\u201d thing is only going to make you better at doing the \u201cwrong\u201d thing.<\/p>\n<p>I suspect you\u2019re talking about just driving a little while with one hand to see how it reacts, and I can understand why you might want to do that. I\u2019ve never tried that (but will), but I think it would be better to just practice applying equal force with both hands\/arms when rotating the steering wheel, and sensing the feedback through both hands.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Q: \u201cI&#8217;m curious &#8211;\u00a0Do\u00a0you ever practice with only your non-dominant hand?
